Our Vision: "Growth through Leadership." Growth in this sense means two things: growing the club and membership. Leadership is about getting out in front of driving the results and taking personal accountability and ownership. Our Mission: The Caribou Club's mission is to teach the safe and proper use of all firearms through Home Firearm Safety, Safety for Teenagers, Hunting and Field Safety, Safety for Young Children, and Instruction on Safe Gun Handling, Operation, and Storage. We will also become the guardian of the traditional American right to "keep and bear arms", and protect the Second Amendment. Take a leadership role in understanding our members needs . . . understand all you can about your members shooting interest and what you can do to satisfy them. Make every connection matter. Nurture long-term relationships. Strive to achieve 100% membership retention. Grow Membership . . . builds on our 2008 momentum to grow and focus energy on new ideas for growth. Improve profitability and cash flow . . . continue to live within our means, with prudent spending and day-to-day cost control but will make investments where we believe there are growth opportunities. Create a great Membership experience . . . we will maintain and strengthen a supportive, safe and inclusive environment for members. The Board will engage members, communicate effectively and provide recognition that is pervasive and fair. We will continue to develop talent and create future leaders by offering learning opportunities for all members. Live our values . . . demonstrate the highest of ethical values in conducting business with our members and the community.
